Coca-Cola 600 Pit Note #13
Kurt Busch (No. 12 Penske Truck Rental Dodge): "We just struggled with the car once we lost the lead. I'd be real tight on one run then real loose on another. It just seemed like we were on the edge every time we changed tires. I didn't get any help - I just lost it on my own. We were really good but we couldn't keep up with the tires."
Juan Pablo Montoya (No. 42 Texaco/Havoline Dodge): "It got really loose off turn four. We had a really good car but I went in the corner and just lost it. I don't know whether I screwed up or just blew a tire. We didn't have a car capable of winning, but it was a top-five car. This is my first season in NASCAR and it's been hard. There's always that fine line, but I guess I can use this as a learning experience. The tires are round and black - it's the same for everybody."
