POST TECH-NET AUTO SERVICE 300 NOTES:

Kyle Busch (No. 18 NOS Energy Drink Toyota, winner) – “We had a great race car today. It wasn’t dominant in the beginning. We were very tight. Real proud of the team, great job on pit road. Came in fifth one time and came out with the lead. I thought we had a great year last year, winning the championship. We’ve got a great team this year, and maybe we can win some races and get some bonus points. Now, it’s time to concentrate on the 600 and get us a win tomorrow. I could run well about 10 laps on the bottom of the track and then my car would run better at the top – the car was back and forth. I just had to keep an open mind about it.”

Brad Keselowski (No. 22 Discount Tire Dodge, second place) - “It was a great day. We led a bunch of laps at the start and there towards the end. We got off a little bit during the middle of the race and adjusted on it and got it back. Kasey Kahne was pretty good, too, but he had problems, I guess. A great day for us here at Charlotte. If we would have had one more lap, we would have had a shot at it. We didn’t catch the breaks today, but we didn’t make our own breaks. We didn’t get beat on the race track. So, we have got to do our part. I’m going to hate not racing Kyle (Busch) next week. We bring out the best and worst in each other.”

Joey Logano (No. 20 SportClips Toyota, third place) – “I wanted to win this thing so bad. We were just a little too tight on that last run and couldn’t take a chance on losing it. We only took two tires on that last stop, and that might have hurt us some. Pretty much had a third-place car. We had a good car, but not quite good enough.”
