Charlotte Motor Speedway is bringing every corner of the automotive world together under one banner. Beginning in April 2027, two of the Southeast's premier automotive events will unite as Charlotte Auto Week — a nine-day celebration of car culture that stretches from grassroots classics and American muscle to the world's most coveted collector automobiles.
The Big Picture:
For four years, Charlotte AutoFair and the Smith Hendrick Heritage Invitational have shared the same weekend, giving enthusiasts a taste of both experiences.
Charlotte Auto Week expands that vision into a dedicated celebration that allows each event to shine while encouraging visitors to immerse themselves in every facet of automotive culture — from chrome bumpers and burnout smoke to Pebble Beach-caliber collector cars and historic racing machines.

Week One: AutoFair celebrates 40 years
The celebration opens April 8-10 as Charlotte AutoFair marks its landmark 40th anniversary.
Presented in partnership with the Antique Automobile Club of America, AutoFair transforms Charlotte Motor Speedway's infield into one of America's largest gatherings of automotive enthusiasts, featuring thousands of classic cars, customs, hot rods, muscle cars, antiques, specialty vehicles, parts vendors, memorabilia and family attractions.
Whether searching for a rare restoration part, showcasing a prized classic or simply enjoying a weekend surrounded by automotive history, AutoFair has remained a spring tradition for generations of enthusiasts.

Between the weekends
Auto Week doesn't stop when AutoFair ends.
A series of community events throughout the week will keep the celebration rolling, including the first-ever Cars & Coffee Charlotte Motor Speedway gathering at Ten Tenths Motor Club.

Week Two: The Heritage Invitational returns
Charlotte Auto Week will conclude April 15-17 with the fifth annual Smith Hendrick Heritage Invitational, the luxury automotive experience that has quickly become a can’t-miss event for the luxury automotive and collector communities.
Hosted at Ten Tenths Motor Club, the Heritage Invitational will be highlighted by:
- Thursday, April 15: The Hendrick Heritage welcome dinner brings together the luxury automotive community for a night of commraderie and fundraising
- Friday, April 16: IROC racing returns alongside the Heritage Invitational Charity Pro-Am benefitting Speedway Children's Charities
- Saturday, April 17: The return of RADwood, celebrating the iconic vehicles, fashion, music and culture of the 1980s and 90s
- Saturday, April 17: The internationally recognized Smith Hendrick Heritage Invitational Concours, showcasing more than 100 of the world's finest collector automobiles
