Inside the 2026 Mission

Coca-Cola Racing Family driver Chase Elliott kicked off the 9th annual Mission 600 with a visit to Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, touring the F-35B flight line, training on an F-18 simulator, and spending time with the Marines of Aviation Group 31 ahead of the Coca-Cola 600.

A Salute Built on Service

Mission 600 is a community and military outreach initiative created through a collaboration between Charlotte Motor Speedway and the Department of War, connecting members of the Coca- Cola Racing Family and other NASCAR drivers with military installations across the mid-Atlantic United States and around the world. Through a series of visits and engagements, including an annual wreath-laying at Arlington National Cemetery’s Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the program honors servicemen and women while building anticipation for the Coca-Cola 600 on Memorial Day Weekend.

Serving as a lead-in to the Speedway’s Salute The Troops pre-race show, Mission 600 brings together representation from all six branches of the U.S. Armed Forces and thankfully recognizes both past and present service and sacrifice, while reinforcing the spirit of unity and patriotism that defines the Coca-Cola 600.
