With Champions Night just around the corner, the race for season titles is heating up, but before the champions are crowned, Santa's elves are bringing one more unforgettable night of festive fun to the frontstretch.
Fans can enjoy holiday-themed crafts, cheerful prizes and festive activities throughout the night while taking in the close racing action that makes Cook Out Summer Shootout a summertime tradition. From the roar of the engines to the magic of Christmas in the middle of summer, there will be something for fans of all ages to enjoy throughout the night.
Before the green flag waves, fans can check out the 704 Honda Club Car Meet-Up in the Fan Zone, featuring a collection of customized vehicles from a variety of makes and models. The display gives automotive enthusiasts the opportunity to admire unique builds, take photos and connect with fellow car lovers before heading into the grandstands for the night’s racing action.
Whether chasing championship excitement, making holiday memories with family or enjoying an unforgettable summer evening at the track, Christmas in July at Cook Out Summer Shootout offers the perfect way to celebrate the season.
DRIVERS TO WATCH
The battle for the VP Fuels Semi-Pro championship is shaping up to be one of the closest of the season. While Colton Hale continues to lead the standings with 585 points, the fight behind him is far from settled. Just 16 points separate second through fifth, with Preston Wrisley (569), Cameron White (563), Dylan Faulkner (561) and JC Fickenscher (553) all within striking distance. With every position on the track carrying valuable championship points, a strong Round 9 finish could completely reshape the standings as the season heads into its final stretch.
Five-time Bandits winner Maverick Bradshaw continues to set the pace at the top of the standings with 601 points. With a 31-point advantage heading into the final two rounds, Bradshaw looks to extend his lead while contenders Roo Reaves (569), Landon Solomito (566), Lucas Harrison (542), Anthony Pedulla (542) and Carter Clapp (538) battle for position behind him.
