Grab your boots and cowboy hats as Cook Out Summer Shootout brings the Wild West to Charlotte Motor Speedway for Laps and Lassos Night on Tuesday, July 7. 

With only four rounds remaining in the 33rd season of Cook Out Summer Shootout, drivers will continue their pursuit of summer championships while fans enjoy a Western-themed evening packed with family-friendly entertainment throughout the concourse.

Fans can test their skills with interactive games and activities while enjoying a night of grassroots racing action featuring Legends Cars and Bandoleros. Guests who arrive dressed in their favorite Western attire will receive $5 off admission at the gate.

As the summer championship chase enters its final stretch, every position and every point become increasingly important. Drivers throughout all eight divisions will look to gain ground in the standings as the battle for season-long titles intensifies under the lights.

DRIVERS TO WATCH

With three rounds complete and championship battles beginning to take shape, several drivers have established themselves as early contenders through race-winning performances and consistent finishes.

Ryan Hoffacker (Beginner Bandoleros) – Hoffacker has emerged as one of the division's most consistent competitors, collecting two victories and five top-five finishes through the first six rounds. The Charlotte native enters Round 7 firmly in the championship conversation as the season heads toward its conclusion.

Braden Scott (VP Racing Fuels Semi-Pro) – After earning three Chargers victories to open the season, Scott made the jump to the highly competitive Semi-Pro division in Round 6. The young racer impressed with a solid debut against a field of more than 30 competitors and will look to continue building momentum in his second Semi-Pro start.

Celebrating its 33rd season, the Cook Out Summer Shootout is a 10-race showcase of speed, featuring eight racing divisions of Legends Cars and Bandoleros. Races are held each Tuesday night under the lights with championship points on the line all summer long.
