Saddle up and tune in as Cook Out Summer Shootout brings a double dose of pedal-to-the-metal fun Monday, June 16 and Tuesday, June 17. After Mother Nature’s curveball last week, America’s Home for Racing is ready to fire back with two nights of wild headlines and Wild West flair that fans won’t want to miss.

MONDAY’S MEDIA MAYHEM

Kick off the week with the rescheduled Round 2, featuring a full slate of high-octane excitement. Watch as 180  grassroots racers from over 20 states, plus New Zealand and Canada, face off on the frontstretch quarter-mile. Fans can also jump into the action off the track with interactive games, giveaways and chances to win prizes all night long.

Tickets purchased for last Tuesday’s postponed event will be honored for entry on Monday, June 16.

TUESDAY’S LAPS & LASSOS

It’s full speed into the sunset for Round 3. Throw on your firesuits and cowboy boots and bring the whole posse for a rowdy roundup of Legend Car and Bandolero racing. In addition, Tuesday will feature the rescheduled no-holds-barred, bumper-to-bumper school bus battle around the quarter-mile. Wrangle the whole family and sit back as your favorite local media personalities trade headlines for helmets in the ultimate rolling rodeo.

Here’s the starting lineup for Tuesday’s school bus showdown:

  1. Chris McClain (WFNZ); Purple Reign Bus
  2. Kasey Funderburg (QC News); Baby Blue Beluga Bus
  3. Payton Mannie (WGHP); Pink Pedal Princess Bus
  4. Al Conklin (WBTV); Yellow Rubber Ducky Bus
