After four Legend Car divisions put on an electric show for fans, finishing the postponed Round 1 of competition, heavy rain and lightning brought an early end to Tuesday’s much-anticipated school bus race and all the mayhem of Round 2.

Before the rain cancelled Tuesday’s programming, 2019 NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch dominated the field from the pole position to the checkered flag. For 25 laps, Busch maneuvered through a PRO-FABrication Headers and Exhaust caution-filled race, grabbing his first win in a Masters division loaded with talent.

Before the prolonged inclement weather rolled in, Spencer Bradshaw (Young Lions), Chase Burgeson (VP Fuels Semi-Pro) and Jake Bollman (Dilling Heating, Cooling, Plumbing and Electrical Pros) also grabbed a checkered flag to close out Monday’s postponed round of competition.

Tuesday’s tickets will be honored on Round 2’s makeup date, which will be announced at a later date.

Tuesday, June 17, Cook Out Summer Shootout returns with a full slate of Bandolero and Legend Car action as drivers trade horses for horsepower in Round 3’s Laps & Lassos-themed night of racing and fun. The event will also feature Tuesday’s postponed, highly anticipated Media Mayhem school bus smackdown.
