Speedway Christmas presented by Atrium Health, the Southeast’s largest drive-through holiday light show, will be closed on Christmas Eve (Dec. 24) as Santa races off from the speedway to begin his journey around the world delivering gifts.

The dazzling four-mile display featuring more than six million lights will reopen Christmas Day at regular hours from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

While the Christmas Village will be closed on Christmas Eve, guests can enjoy extended village dates from Dec. 18–23 before it reopens for its final run Dec. 25–28. During that time, fans can experience the infield Christmas Village, walking trail and drive-in movie on the Speedway TV, featuring The Polar Express presented by Cook Out. Guests can also make their final visits of the season to the fan-favorite Cook Out Tubing Hill.

The drive-through-only portion of the lights-to-music show will remain open nightly through Jan. 4.
