Denny Hamlin, No. 11, NASCAR Cup Series, Joe Gibbs Racing
“Charlotte's such a great racing community anyway, so when the fans come into town for the Charlotte races, they've got opportunities to go to race team headquarters. The Charlotte area is really, really nice. It's grown up a lot over the last few years, so there's really a lot to do around the city, and really, that's why a lot of families come out for the full weekend.”

Experience Unmatched Access in the Fan Zone

One of the things that makes NASCAR unlike any other sport is the access fans have to the stars, teams and experiences that bring the sport to life. Throughout Bank of America 400 weekend, fans can immerse themselves in the excitement throughout the Fan Zone with driver appearances, autograph opportunities, interactive displays, sponsor activations, merchandise, food and entertainment for all ages.

Taylor Gray, No. 54, NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, Joe Gibbs Racing

“As a sport, that's kind of our home base. You know you're going to have a ton of people there. Everybody's going to be there; probably nine times out of 10 you're going to see your childhood hero, right? So I think for us it's just a cool place to go as a race fan and to see everything and see everybody together.”

Explore NASCAR’s Backyard

Charlotte is home to the teams, legends and stories that have shaped NASCAR, making race weekend the perfect opportunity for fans to explore before heading to the track.

Race fans can visit some of NASCAR’s most iconic race shops throughout the region, experience behind-the-scenes looks at where teams prepare for competition and visit the NASCAR Hall of Fame to celebrate the sport’s greatest moments and legends.

“I feel like Charlotte, you got to be there just because there are so many people that go to that one, and obviously there's all the race shops that are open within an hour of Charlotte Motor Speedway. You definitely need to come a day early and go see Junior Motorsports and all the other race teams and all the other places. NASCAR Hall of Fame. There are countless things you can do on Charlotte weekend.”

Ryan Blaney, No. 12, NASCAR Cup Series, Team Penske

“Charlotte Motor Speedway has so many things around it to do, whether you want to go to the city of Charlotte, which is, you know, 15 miles down the road, or if you want to go visit the race shops in Mooresville, that's 15 miles north.  You can go do that and see where all the race teams operate out of. So, being kind of the hub for motorsports in NASCAR with all the teams being here, there are a lot of things for families to go do if you want to come for the whole week.”
