Thanks to the overwhelmingly positive response from advanced ticket sales for Wednesday's charity drive-in fundraiser to support Speedway Children's Charities, tickets for the July 8 screening of "The Secret Life of Pets" are SOLD OUT.

Proceeds from the event benefit Speedway Children's Charities, which provides funding to Charlotte-area nonprofits focused on serving the needs of children across the region.

Those interested in learning more about future opportunities to support Speedway Children's Charities should visit www.speedwaycharities.org.

Guests who purchased advanced tickets for the event are encouraged to arrive early. Gates will open at 5 p.m. and the movie is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. All movie-goers will enter the infield at Gate 26 (under the Turn 3 tunnel) and be directed to parking in front of the 16,000-square-foot Speedway TV. Audio for the movie will be available through the radio station 105.1 FM.

While restroom facilities will be available, attendees are otherwise asked to remain in their vehicles for the duration of the event to support the best social distancing practices.

Concessions will not be sold on-site, but those attending the movie are welcome to bring their own.
