Continuing Charlotte’s most spectacular night of fashion, fun and fundraising, Catwalk for Causes will take place on Tuesday evening, Sept. 16, at the new Ten Tenths Motor Club at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The legacy event started by the late Sherry Pollex and Martin Truex Jr. Foundation in 2009 will be produced by Speedway Children’s Charities (SCC) in partnership with Greg Olsen’s HEARTest Yard, the Kyle & Samantha Busch Bundle of Joy Fund, and the Kyle Larson Foundation.

NASCAR and NFL stars will strut their stuff alongside children in a high-energy fashion show to raise money and awareness for programs supported by each charity partner. While the professional athletes cruise the catwalk, the spotlight truly focuses on the children battling significant health challenges who walk beside them.

The star-studded night builds off Pollex’s legacy of empowering children and giving those facing their toughest battles the opportunity to just have fun and be a kid. Over the last 15 years, Catwalk has raised more than $5 million. Catwalk for Causes will continue to support charities making a difference in the lives of children in need across the Carolinas.

Hosted by NASCAR broadcaster and SCC board member Adam Alexander and veteran motorsports driver and broadcaster Erin Evernham, the event will also feature live and silent auctions, musical performances and a lively after-party.

What supporters are saying:

Greg Olsen, HEARTest Yard:

“We’re always grateful for partners who want to collaborate and make a bigger impact together. We look forward to celebrating our heart families and uplifting the other incredible causes in the greater Charlotte community.”

Samantha Busch, Bundle of Joy Foundation:

“It’s truly an honor to participate in Catwalk for Causes to carry on Sherry’s enduring legacy of giving back and lifting others up. The Bundle of Joy Fund is proud to stand alongside these esteemed Charlotte nonprofits doing meaningful work in our community. Kyle and I are grateful to be part of this night of hope, love and impact to help keep Sherry’s spirit of compassion alive for families who need it most.”

Kyle Larson, Kyle Larson Foundation:

“Katelyn and I have always enjoyed participating in Catwalk for a Cause. It is one of our favorite nights and such a privilege to walk the runway with the most amazing kids. We are so grateful that Speedway Children’s Charities is not only continuing Catwalk, but has committed to expanding it as an opportunity for multiple grants to be awarded to well-deserved, local organizations. We’re honored that the Kyle Larson Foundation will be a part of Catwalk for Causes and look forward to working with some fellow Charlotte athletes and their non-profits on making this a night to remember. To honor the heart and soul behind Catwalk, the Kyle Larson Foundation will donate its grant to SherryStrong, to further carry on the vision and legacy of Sherry (Pollex).”

Marcus Smith, Speedway Children’s Charities:

“The opportunity to fill a room with friends and family as we raise money and make a positive impact on the children in the Carolinas is something special. Catwalk for Causes gives children facing their biggest battles a night to shine and feel the love of every person in the room. When my parents founded Speedway Children’s Charities, their hope was to improve the lives of children in need. By partnering with these impactful charities, Catwalk for Causes will continue that mission and we’re honored to host such a meaningful night at Ten Tenths Motor Club.”
