Cook Out Summer Shootout returns to America's Home for Racing next week with back-to-back nights of family fun, themed entertainment and grassroots racing action. Round 5 and Round 6 will bring fans face-to-face with a wild safari adventure before rining in the Fourth of July under the lights.
MONDAY: SPEEDWAY SAFARI NIGHT
Round 5 roars to life on Monday, June 29, as Speedway Safari Night transforms Charlotte Motor Speedway into a wild adventure. Fans are encouraged to be party animals with safari-themed games, activities and entertainment throughout the evening.
Guests wearing animal-print apparel will receive $5 OFF admission at the gate, making it the perfect opportunity to show off their style while enjoying a night of exciting racing action.
TUESDAY: RED, WHITE & VROOM PRESENTED BY PRO-FABRICATION HEADERS
The celebration continues Tuesday, June 30, with Red, White and Vroom Night, with an early Independence Day party featuring racing, patriotism and a post-race fireworks spectacular.
Opening Ceremonies will feature a Hero's Salute presented by Charlotte Motor Speedway's Fire & EMS team, paying tribute to first responders who serve our communities. Military members and first responders will receive FREE admission for the night.
Following the night's racing action, fans can head to the frontstretch for a special driver autograph session with Cook Out Summer Shootout competitors before looking skyward for a patriotic fireworks display to cap off the evening!
ABOUT COOK OUT SUMMER SHOOTOUT:
Celebrating its 33rd season, the Cook Out Summer Shootout is a 10-race showcase of speed, featuring eight racing divisions of Legends Cars and Bandoleros. Races are held each Tuesday night under the lights with championship points on the line all summer long.
TICKETS:
On Monday, June 29, tickets are just $13, while kids 12 and under get in FREE. On Tuesday, June 30, tickets are $18 and include the post-race fireworks spectacular. Fans can also donate a canned good to Drive Out Hunger and receive $2 off admission.
