Ecosave, a commercial and industrial energy-efficiency company, will serve as the entitlement sponsor of the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway’s 2.28-mile, 17-turn ROVAL™ course on Friday, Oct. 3. The event — the Ecosave 250 — marks the first time the CRAFTSMAN Truck Series will compete on the innovative ROVAL layout.
“Ecosave has been a tremendous partner since signing on to our spring race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and we’re excited to revv up the fun in Charlotte this weekend with the history-making Ecosave 250,” said Speedway Motorsports’ Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer Kevin Camper. “Fans can expect the high drama, tight passing and late-race intensity that the ROVAL™ has produced since its debut.”
Earlier this year, Ecosave served as title sponsor of a Truck Series event at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, partnering on sustainability initiatives and race sponsorship. That collaboration underscores Ecosave’s commitment to motorsports and track-level sustainability as it joins Charlotte Motor Speedway.
“We are excited to partner with Speedway Motorsports as a race sponsor for the second time this season, and are looking forward to an exciting race in Charlotte this Friday,” said Ecosave CEO Kevin Madden. “The Ecosave 250 will be a blast, and we are proud to be a part of the excitement in Charlotte at the ROVAL™!”
The ROVAL™ — Charlotte Motor Speedway’s combination of oval and infield road course — has produced some of NASCAR’s most memorable, strategic and dramatic finishes in recent years, testing drivers with a mix of high speed, technical turns and playoff implications. The addition of the Ecosave 250 continues the ROVAL’s™ reputation for unpredictable, must-watch racing.
