It’s game time at the track, and the race to the championship is officially on as Speedway Sports Night takes over Round 9 of the Cook Out Summer Shootout, Tuesday, July 22, delivering high-stakes racing, tight points battles and a dose of game-day spirit fans won’t want to miss.
With just two rounds left in the season, every lap and every round counts. Drivers across all divisions are turning up the heat with championship hopes at stake. Expect edge-of-your-seat action as the best grassroots racers in the country leave it all on the line in pursuit of Summer Shootout glory.
Tuesday’s action gets a head start with three make-up Bandolero features from Round 8 hitting the track at 5 p.m., giving fans an extra dose of race-day thrills before the main events get underway.
Off the track, the competition doesn’t slow down. Fans can jump into game-day activities like Guess That Team, Sports Charades and Name That Player, where every win counts and bragging rights are on the line.
And Tuesday, repping your favorite sports team pays off. Fans who wear their team’s apparel will receive $5 off admission at the gate. Whether it’s a driver jacket, football helmet or cricket jersey, it’s time for fans to show their allegiance.
ABOUT COOK OUT SUMMER SHOOTOUT:
Celebrating its 32nd season, the Cook Out Summer Shootout is a 10-race showcase of speed, featuring eight racing divisions of Legend Cars and Bandoleros. Races are held each Tuesday night under the lights with championship points on the line all summer long.
