NASCAR superstar Kasey Kahne, driver of the No. 5 Farmers Insurance Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports, and NHRA rookie sensation Tanner Gray will get fans revved up for Charlotte Motor Speedway's action-packed fall season during the ninth annual Parade of Power at noon on Wednesday, Aug. 16. This free family fun event showcases the wide variety of racing and events coming to the speedway during the second half of the year and includes a fan Q&A, monster truck rides for kids and an autograph session.

The Parade of Power will feature more than two dozen vehicles -- totaling more than 30,000 horsepower -- including NASCAR stock cars, NHRA Top Fuel dragster and Pro Mod car, a World of Outlaws dirt late model, a monster truck, a Legend Car and Bandolero, Toyota Camry pace cars, the speedway's Rosenbauer fire engine, classic automobiles and more. The vehicles will parade down Bruton Smith Boulevard from Concord Mills Mall to Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Kahne, a five time Cup Series winner at Charlotte Motor Speedway, will make his way down Burton Smith Boulevard to greet the fans. Coming off of the Brickyard 400 win that earned him a place in the 2017 NASCAR playoffs, Kahne looks to continue his success at Charlotte this fall. Kahne already had his fair share of success at Charlotte Motor Speedway, including a trip to Victory Lane in the 2006 Bank of America 500.

Gray will greet the fans as he gears up for the 2017 NHRA Carolina Nationals. The 17-year-old made NHRA history earlier this season when he became the youngest Pro driver to win a national event at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. He has since added two more victories to his resume and looks to continue his success at zMAX Dragway in September.

In addition to the parade, there will be an autograph session for the first 100 fans to arrive at the speedway Wednesday morning. Wristbands will be distributed beginning at 8 a.m. for entry to the autograph session. Kids at the event can also jump in a ride-along monster truck in advance to the Circle K Back-to-School Monster Truck Bash at The Dirt Track on Aug. 19.

The complete line-up for the fall's activities is as follows. All events take place at the 1.5-mile superspeedway, unless otherwise noted:
