The most wonderful time of the year is almost here! Speedway Christmas presented by Atrium Health officially opens this Friday, Nov. 21, kicking off another season of sparkling lights, festive fun and family traditions at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
QUEEN CITY NEWS MOVIE NIGHTS:
Bundle up and settle in Thursday through Sunday for Queen City News Movie Nights, this week featuring The Santa Clause, presented by The St. Germain Group. After cruising through the dazzling light show, cozy up with a cup of hot cocoa and tune into 105.1 FM to listen to the classic holiday favorite on the giant 80-foot-tall SpeedwayTV. The first showing begins at 6:30 p.m., with an encore immediately following.
HOLIDAY SHOPS:
The Christmas Village is back and bustling with holiday cheer! Get a head start on Christmas shopping right in the infield. Returning this year is fan favorite Chocolate Moonshine, serving up their gourmet fudge and sweet treats all season long. Joining the lineup opening weekend will be DC Doodle Designs with creative handcrafted décor and La Flor, showcasing artisan-made goods with a festive flair.
SEASONAL SONGS:
This year, Speedway Christmas will feature live caroling throughout the season, with choirs and community groups bringing festive harmonies to the Christmas Village each week. Opening Night kicks things off in a big way as The Joyful Noise Project attempts to set a state record for the largest gathering of carolers singing together. Then, on Nov. 23, Livingstone College’s Gospel Choir will fill the air with joyful holiday music.
OPENING WEEK PERKS:
To celebrate opening weekend, the first 250 guests on Friday, Nov. 21, and Saturday, Nov. 22, will receive an exclusive Speedway Christmas presented by Atrium Health ornament at the gate — a perfect keepsake to remember a festive night at America’s Home for Racing.

The 16th annual Speedway Christmas presented by Atrium Health will be open nightly Nov. 21 – Jan. 4 (closed Christmas Eve). Tickets are sold per vehicle, with weekday prices starting at just $46.
