Speedway Christmas presented by Atrium Health is lighting up the holiday season at Charlotte Motor Speedway. With more than 6 million lights and just nine days until Christmas, it’s the perfect time to experience the region’s most cherished holiday tradition. From immersive light scenes to a sparkling concourse, festive magic is around every turn.

MERRY MARKET FINDS:
This week, the Christmas Village is buzzing with holiday excitement and makes for the perfect spot to wrap up last-minute shopping and capture festive memories with Santa. Guests can browse through trendy clothing from 3 Southern Jewelz, discover charming glassware, keychains and jewelry from Eternal Wildflowers and look for the perfect stocking stuffers for the men in their lives at Uncommonly Male, featuring beard butters, oils and specialty men’s grooming products. Whether you’re grabbing those final gifts or treating yourself during a visit with Santa, the Village is filled with merry must-haves for everyone on your list.

BIG-SCREEN MAGIC:
This week’s Queen City News Movie Nights will bring the holiday favorite “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” (2000), presented by Dilling Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical, to the massive 16,000-square-foot SpeedwayTV. After cruising through the glowing light course, families can tune in to 105.1 FM and enjoy the Whoville classic under the stars. Showtime is 6:30 p.m., with an encore immediately following.

HOLIDAY HARMONIES:
Adding to the festive atmosphere, the Christmas Village stage will host joyful performances from local caroling groups throughout the week. Thursday, Dec. 18, Myers Park High School will bring holiday spirit to the stage, followed by OnStage School of Music Christmas Choir on Dec. 20, filling the village with warm harmonies and seasonal cheer.

A SHOW TRANSFORMED:
One of the biggest highlights of the 2025 season is the addition of more than 700 new assets, creating a refreshed Speedway Christmas experience. With redesigned displays, upgraded concourse elements and reimagined scenes throughout the infield inside Turns 1 and 2, this year’s event delivers even more immersive magic and continues to build on the tradition that makes Speedway Christmas a can’t-miss holiday destination.
