The Bojangles' Summer Shootout at Charlotte Motor Speedway will kick off Fourth of July celebrations a day early, with a spectacular Tuesday night fireworks show headlining Legend Car and Bandolero racing on Charlotte's frontstretch quarter-mile.
In addition to one of the Carolinas' most highly anticipated fireworks shows, race fans can meet drivers in an autograph session featuring racers from all seven Bojangles' Summer Shootout divisions: Cabarrus Brewing Company Masters; Legend Car Pro; K1 Speed Young Lions; VP Racing Fuels Semi-Pro; Charter Schools USA Bandolero Outlaws; Bandolero Bandits and Bandolero Beginner Bandits.
Many of NASCAR's most prominent stars, including Joey Logano, Austin Dillon, Chase Elliott, Bubba Wallace and Ryan Blaney honed their skills in the Bojangles' Summer Shootout. Tuesday's autograph session gives race fans the chance to meet drivers following in the footsteps of recent Shootout drivers like William Byron in ascending to NASCAR's highest level.
Gates open at 5 p.m. with racing beginning at approximately 6 p.m. The fireworks spectacular is slated to get underway around 9 p.m.
