A capacity crowd is expected for the third running of the Bank of America ROVAL™ 400 on Sunday, Oct. 11. Due to State mandated requirements, limiting our audience size—this event is SOLD OUT, and we’re not accepting any more ticket sales.

Tickets remain for Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series and IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar GT Series racing double-header.

Ticket & Camping Information

Charlotte Motor Speedway will utilize the entire venue as needed in order to best adhere to social distancing guidelines. CMS staff will assign seats based on group size, price and distancing requirements.

All tickets for this event will be accessed via smartphone or mobile app. Charlotte Motor Speedway will provide info to all ticketholders on how to access these tickets on your mobile device. Traditional paper tickets or PDF tickets will not be offered.

With social distancing measures in place we will do our best to seat you in a location similar to where you had previously purchased.

If you received confirmation from CMS, your tickets and/or camping will be available via mobile entry. Directions will be emailed to each fan.

If you did not complete and submit the online form to express interest to attend, the deadline has been surpassed. For any fully paid, 2020 ROVAL ticket holders—NO ACTION IS NEEDED…you will automatically receive 120 percent credit toward next year’s Bank of America ROVAL 400. However, you may request a full refund by filling out the refund request form to start the refund process.

If you received confirmation from Charlotte Motor Speedway, the following times and dates apply:

Camping World Racing Resort (Full Hook-Up)

  • Check-In: Monday, October 5 at 2pm
  • Check-Out: Monday, October 12 at 12pm

Turn 4 Family Campground (Standard Camping)

  • Check-In: Friday, October 9 at 2pm
  • Check-Out: Monday, October 12 at 12pm

Scanner and FanVision rentals will NOT be available day of race.

Entry Guide

For the enjoyment of all of our guests, and in compliance with state and federal laws, please remember the following:

  • All items are subject to search – Items may not be left at gates
  • Charlotte Motor Speedway is a non-smoking stadium, including e-cigarettes
  • Smoking is permitted in designated Smoking Lounges only
  • Be respectful and courteous to fellow race fans
  • Guests may bring in a clear bag no larger than 14x14x14 inches

Prohibited Items

To ensure all guests have a safe and enjoyable visit to CMS, the following items are not permitted inside the speedway stadium:

  • Bicycles
  • Cigarettes/e-cigarettes/vapes
  • Confederate flags
  • Coolers
  • Clear bags larger than 14x14x14 inches
  • Drones/aerial vehicles
  • Glass of any kind
  • Golf carts (personal)
  • Helium balloons, beach balls, noisemakers, horns and fireworks
  • Hoverboards, rollerblades, Segways and skateboards
  • Human transporters
  • Pets (except service animals assisting the disabled)
  • Scaffolding
  • All stadium chairs (any size with or without arms)
  • Strollers
  • Umbrellas
  • Unattended items
  • Weapons of any description (including knives), regardless of permit
  • Any other items that may pose a safety hazard or diminish the enjoyment of the event for other fans

Prohibited items discovered during security inspections at the speedway entrances must either be returned to the owner’s vehicle or discarded. Unlawful items discovered during security inspections are subject to confiscation and the person in possession of those items is subject to arrest. Any prohibited item discovered inside the speedway is subject to confiscation.

Saturday, October 10
Parking Lots Open at 12:00 PM

  • Free parking is available at Entrance T at the Dirt Track off of Bruton Smith Blvd.
  • Free ADA Parking is located within the FanZone at the main entrance.
  • Reserved parking passes must be issued prior to the event and will be available via the CMS App for admission. Preferred parking will be assigned to Season Ticket Holders and Speedway Club Members.

Sunday, October 11
Parking Lots Open at 10:00 AM

  • Free parking is available at Entrance T at the Dirt Track off of Bruton Smith Blvd.
  • Free ADA Parking is located within the FanZone at the main entrance.
  • Reserved parking passes must be issued prior to the event and will be available via the CMS App for admission. Preferred parking will be assigned to Season Ticket Holders and Speedway Club Members.

Trams and Shuttles will be limited to mobility limited fans with limited spaces to ensure social distancing. Shuttles will be available for ADA Parking only. There will be no shuttles running to and from the open campgrounds.

These plans are currently being worked on, but the goal is to provide the safest environment possible for all guests and participants. More details on entry and exit procedures coming soon.

Fans will be allowed to bring food and unopened beverages in a soft-sided clear bag no larger than 14x14x14 inches. Standard coolers will be prohibited to limit interpersonal contact at security checkpoints.

Concession options are to be determined.

Safety Protocols & Procedures

Charlotte Motor Speedway's modified protocols will include: social distancing in the grandstands and concession lines; enhanced cleaning and sanitation in high-touch, high-traffic public areas; added hand-sanitizer stations; limited guests in suites; and infield admission for race team and operational personnel only.

Fans will be allowed to bring food and unopened beverages in a soft-sided clear bag no larger than 14x14x14 inches. Standard coolers will be prohibited to limit interpersonal contact at security checkpoints. Cash will not be accepted at this event, however, credit, debit and Apple Pay will be the accepted forms of payment at concessions and souvenir locations. Speedway Motorsports and NASCAR will continue to adapt and improve procedures to ensure they are effective and can be scaled to support increasing the number of fans in the future.

All guests ages 3 years and older are required to wear a cloth face covering that covers the mouth and nose at all times; other than while actively eating or drinking. This includes while seated in your assigned seating area.

Charlotte Motor Speedway will assign the seats with social distancing in mind. There will be enough space between each group of fans that follow CDC guidelines.

Charlotte Motor Speedway's modified protocols will include: social distancing in concession lines; enhanced cleaning and sanitation in high-touch, high-traffic public areas; added hand-sanitizer stations.

Restrooms will be located under Grandstands with a one-way traffic flow and limited capacity.

Cash will not be accepted at this event, however, credit, debit and Apple Pay will be the accepted forms of payment at concessions and souvenir locations. Speedway Motorsports and NASCAR will continue to adapt and improve procedures to ensure they are effective and can be scaled to support increasing the number of fans in the future.

The Charlotte Motor Speedway infield will be open only to essential NASCAR personnel. There will be no pre-race track passes offered to spectators.

Guests will be able to tailgate at their respective car prior to the event with the proper social distancing guidelines and health and safety provisions; there is a maximum of 6 people allowed per parking space tailgate.

The Fan Zone will not be open on property on October 11, but we are working on creating a virtual Fan Zone for fans to enjoy closer to race day. More details to follow.
