Cue the confetti and fire up the engines! Cook Out Summer Shootout Round 8 rolls into Charlotte Motor Speedway on Tuesday, July 14, as Lug Nut's Birthday Bash combines thrilling grassroots racing with family-friendly fun for one unforgettable night.
Fans who purchased tickets for the postponed Round 7 event will have those tickets honored for Round 8 festivities.
Beyond the racing action, fans can cheer on Lug Nut as he defends his title in the Mascot Mania Go-Kart Race presented by SpeedPark at Concord Mills, featuring the largest lineup of mascots in event history. Before the green flag drops, fans can meet the full mascot lineup on the concourse ahead of Opening Ceremonies.

While the mascots battle for bragging rights, drivers will be chasing valuable championship points. With just three rounds remaining in the 33rd Cook Out Summer Shootout season, every lap and every position matters as competitors look to gain ground before Champions Night.
Alongside thrilling on-track battles, fans can enjoy birthday surprises, interactive entertainment and family fun throughout the evening. As part of Lug Nut’s birthday celebration, fans who bring a new, unopened toy to the gate will receive $5 off admission. All of the toys donated will benefit Speedway Childrens Charities.
