Charlotte Motor Speedway partners with Hagerty Insurance each year for this unique chance for kids to be the judge of rare, exotic and collector cars! Twelve students, ages 8-12, will be selected to view, judge and present the trophy to the winning car. For more details and to register please email [email protected].

March 26 & Oct. 9

The STEAM program will host the spring event in the infield of North Wilkesboro Speedway on March 26, 2026, and the fall event at zMAX Dragway on Oct. 9, 2026. The EXPO attracts several hundred students from the area, combining fun and education for all grade levels. This event features over 50 interactive STEAM stations from area partners, driver Q&A sessions, giveaways, and more. Volunteer opportunities are available for high school seniors/groups, college students, and businesses. Some of the duties may include:

• Assists in greeting and checking in guests
• Helps with event set up and tear-down
• Circulates among staff and guests to address any needs
• Facilitates STEAM booths
