Fox News Chief Political Anchor Bret Baier is known for his multi-faceted, acclaimed media work, but the bestselling author and personality visited America's Home for Racing on Saturday in a different role: team sponsor.

Baier's newest of his eight books, "The Case For America," adorns David Starr's No. 53 Joey Gase Motorsports entry in Saturday's Charbroil 300 NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series race.

Being a sponsor isn't new to Baier — who's sponsored cars for years on a situational basis — but visiting America's Home for Racing was a first. Baier took part in a book signing at the speedway's gift shop on Saturday afternoon, meeting with fans and discussing his passion for motorsports.

"It's great to be here," Baier said on Friday. "I've sponsored cars and been to several races in the past. (The Coca-Cola 600) is a special weekend with all the military folks present. What I see at these races is a lot of patriotism and a lot of red, white and blue.

"This race (weekend), more than any other, honors that. Having fallen heroes on each car is a really special thing. It's an honor to be here and I'm glad having my book on a car. It's a great thing for me. This particular book has a special tie-in with (Memorial Day) weekend and America 250. I've done a number of sponsorships and David (Starr), that's my driver. We're all-in."
